Jim Havey Public Relations (JHPR) was founded in Nashville in October 2001. A full-service public relations agency, JHPR secures client point-of-view editorial placements in the Broadcast, Print and Online media and provides Special Event, Creative, and Marketing Strategy services. The agency represents a varied clientele of artists, entertainment industry enterprises, hospitality establishments, and other businesses in Music City and across the nation.
JHPR is also retained by New York City-based Lisa Long Adler Communications (LLAC) to generate national and international publicity for The Light Group, a leading and innovative hospitality development and management company which set the standard for nightlife and dining on the Las Vegas Strip by bringing an unprecedented level of design, detail, and service with its highly successful nightclubs, lounges and restaurants. Havey, assisted by his associate Meghann Zolan, and staff, generates high-profile press placements for The Light Group's properties and its frequent special events featuring A-list celebrity guests from Hollywood, sports, music, fashion, and pop culture. Next up for The Light Group is The Harmon Hotel, one of the world’s most luxurious eco-friendly boutique hotels opening on the Strip in late 2010 at CityCenter, the $9 billion urban metropolis between Monte Carlo and Bellagio resorts.
Prior to launching his namesake agency, Jim Havey served as a public relations executive in New York City for 12 years handling accounts for personalities and businesses from the worlds of entertainment, hospitality, publishing, and fashion/beauty. |
