JIM HAVEY
Jim Havey's PR career spans 20 years, beginning in New York City where he worked for 12 years. While with David Granoff PR in mid-town Manhattan, Jim handled accounts for high-profile personalities and businesses from the worlds of entertainment, hospitality, publishing, and fashion and beauty. REVLON's Guess Parfum National Tour with Claudia Schiffer, Wilhelmina Models, Soap Opera Weekly, The Jekyll and Hyde Club, Eerie Entertainment, Limelight nightclub, Peter Coppola Salon, Alberto-Culver, Cosmeceuticals by Dr. Nicholas Perricone, Anna Nicole Smith, Soap Oper Weekly, and rapper Fat Joe, along with numerous film premieres and product launches, are among some of the notable accounts. In October 2001, Jim established his namesake PR firm in Nashville, the hometown of his wife, Lauren Braddock Havey, the daughter of legendary hit songwriter Bobby Braddock.

Born in Minneapolis, MN and raised in Morganfield, KY, Meghann moved to Nashville in 1998 to attend Vanderbilt University. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development in 2002 (1 credit shy of a Minor in English) and working as a preschool teacher at Belmont Weekday School in Hillsboro Village, Meghann decided it was time to see the world. For a year she traveled to Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Ecuador, and various places in the United States before returning to Vanderbilt to work on her Masters degree in Organizational Leadership. It was during her studies she interned at a top Nashville PR firm, and Neal McCoy's independent record label, 903 Music. As an intern at 903, Meghann met Jim Havey, publicist for the label, and upon completing her Masters and internship in 2006, she accepted a position at Jim Havey PR. During her time at the company, Meghann has utilized her writing and research skills to assist in the PR campaigns of several clients and has honed her abilities as a publicist under the expertise of owner, Jim Havey.
